Press Release: January 21, 2010

The Silver Spring Township Board of Supervisors approved the Veterans Memorial Committee's proposed design and site. The design with five walls and a reflecting pool with an American flag, was proposed as the Silver Spring Township Veterans Memorial. The memorial will be built at Willow Mill Park and dedicated on November 11th, 2011. Please see draft pictures posted under "Winning Design".

Be on the look out! Pennsy Supply recently added a newly decorated cement mixer with the Veterans Memorial in Silver Spring Township design and US Military seals. Larry Shultz, vice president of the Commercial Group at Pennsy Supply, wanted to help promote the Veterans Memorial. In addition to promoting our memorial, Pennsy Supply will be donating all of the memorial's required concrete and crushed stone.
