Mr. and Mrs. Duncan, of New Kingstown, were the recent winners of the Veterans Memorial Committee American Flag blanket.  The committee conducted the raffle at several local events since September, including the Willow Mill Fall Festival and CV Echoes in the Valley marching band competition.  Mr. Duncan, an Army veteran, said he will thoroughly enjoy the blanket and prominently display the colors in their home. Congratulations!

The Silver Spring Township Veterans Committee attended the New Kingstown Fire Company Annual Festival in July 2009 where they proudly displayed their mementos and medals from serving our Country. The Veterans Committee is currently seeking "Request for Designs" for a Memorial to be built in Silver Spring Township to honor our Veterans. Please see "OPEN DESIGN" on this website.
